Dr. Peter K Ness was born in Port Lincoln, Southern Australia where he grew up on farms and sheep stations. Forced to leave school at age 15, he worked in a farm machinery firm for the next 5 years. Peter paid his own way through the final year of high school (Year 12, Matriculation), and then completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Geology (& Geophysics) at the South Australian Institute of Technology (University of South Australia). He then worked at various mining companies as an Ore Resource geologist on pre-feasibility/feasibility projects. While working, he completed both an MS in Geology and an MBA at the University of Western Australia (UWA), then graduated with an M. Comms. majoring in Finance from Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia.
Moving to Japan in 1999, Peter worked in academia (at TUJ) and in various finance-related roles in Tokyo. In 2013, he graduated from the University of Tokyo with a doctorate degree (PHD) in Complexity, Science and Engineering. His thesis is on asteroid mining. After graduation, he tutored his son who was studying at university. During that time, he wrote "Dimensions" and the "Heni Hani" series and refurbished the house in his spare time. On returning to Japan, Peter worked on a series of financial derivative risk equations and in 2019 analyzed the moon and located +20 lunar mineral exploration targets using an orebody conceptual model he had developed; this work has been extended to mars.
In October 2020, Peter set up a company Robotic-Mining for space mining. The risk equations have been extended to self-hedging and a method "magic matrices" for creating exact equations "on demand". These can help speed up AI Robotics. Peter is currently working on a Strategic Planning "Strategic Trap" framework that he designed. This seems to have the capacity to defeat AI or supercomputers; the textbook is currently being edited. It won't be published until the software is complete, which could take 3-5 years as it is a huge task. Now that the CSV upload files are complete the framework will now be coded (commencing in early 2023), along with the risk models. Peter has also developed some general relativity equations for subspace ad a new theory on how the universe formed; but its unlikely that these will be published in the near future. They may be published in book format to avoid splitting everything up for different journals. "The Vimana", was published on Amazon in 2022. Two Heni Hani novels remain incomplete.
